Experience the magic of Shakespeare under the open sky and on the field of play as acclaimed outdoor theatre company “Illyria” brings As You Like It to the Cooper Associates County Ground on Sunday September 13th
One of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies, As You Like It follows the spirited Rosalind as she escapes to the Forest of Arden. Love blossoms, disguises abound and life’s complications are delightfully untangled as playful flirting becomes more pain than pleasure as Love itself is pushed to the limit of its endurance!
Illyria have built a national reputation for creating accessible, energetic and visually stunning outdoor performances, making Shakespeare enjoyable for audiences of all ages – whether you're a lifelong theatre lover or discovering the Bard for the first time.
The performance, which is suitable for all ages, begins at 3.30pm, with gates opening from 2.30pm, giving visitors plenty of time to arrive, relax and soak up the atmosphere before the show starts.
